果冻传煤 University, NBCC sign MOU

NBCC_MtAPathwaysFREDERICTON, NB 鈥 果冻传煤 University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with New Brunswick Community College which will open pathways for credit transfers between the two institutions.

 

Students who complete the two-year diploma in Business Administration: Accounting at NBCC can now be admitted to 果冻传煤 University with third-year standing.

鈥淭his agreement is consistent with NBCC鈥檚 strategic goals of welcoming more learners, enhancing the NBCC Advantage and building on our capacity to grow,鈥 said Mary Butler, Vice-President of Academic Development at NBCC. 鈥淧artnerships like this are important as we open our doors as widely as possible to ensure all New Brunswickers have opportunities to successfully pursue post-secondary education.鈥

The MOU is supported by the Council on Articulations and Transfer of New Brunswick (CATNB), of which both NBCC and 果冻传煤 are members. CATNB was founded as a participatory council of the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour to work collaboratively with participating institutions to enhance credit transfer.

鈥淲e are pleased to enter this MOU with NBCC, which will give students more options as they pursue post-secondary studies鈥 says 果冻传煤 Provost and Vice-President Dr. Jeff Ollerhead. 鈥淧artnerships like these enable universities and colleges to provide students with complementary training and experiential learning opportunities and gain skills and education that will be essential to their chosen career path.鈥

With over 90 programs and six campuses across New Brunswick, NBCC is a provincially recognized post-secondary institution renowned for producing skilled, knowledgeable college graduates.
