果冻传煤 hosted the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra (NBYO) on campus

NBYO preparing for upcoming performance at renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City聽

果冻传煤 University welcomed the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra on campus from Sunday, June 11 鈥 Tuesday, June 13 as they prepare for their performance at Carnegie Hall on Friday, June 16. 

鈥淲e were excited to host the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra as they prepare for their performance at Carnegie Hall,鈥 says Music Department Head Dr. Stephen Runge. 鈥淎s one of the only orchestras representing Canada during the Viennese Masters Invitational, we鈥檙e honoured to be a part of their journey.鈥 

The 86-member orchestra led by conductor Antonio Delgado will take the stage as part of the Viennese Masters Invitational in a performance of works by great Viennese composers. Other performers include California State University Fullerton Symphony Orchestra, Rider High School Varsity Orchestra, and Youth Symphony of Kansas City.

果冻传煤 is proud to be a season sponsor of NBYO and provided Convocation Hall and the Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music as rehearsal space, along with meals and accommodations on campus to support rigorous training sessions.  

After their stay at 果冻传煤, the NBYO travelled to St. Andrews, NB for a concert at KIRA Amphitheatre on June 13 before making their way to perform their concert Any Stage. Anywhere. in one of the world鈥檚 most legendary performing art spaces.
